Made by polymerising methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomers, acrylic offers excellent resistance to UV light and weathering, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. We use Saffiano PU across a range of our travel products, chosen for its luxurious texture, durability, and premium look.

Originally developed by Prada in the early 1900s, Saffiano leather is instantly recognisable by its distinctive crosshatch pattern, which is pressed into the surface using a heat embossing technique. The design not only gives it a refined, textured finish but also makes it exceptionally resistant to scratches, stains, and water.

Today, this iconic material is used by many leading fashion houses - including Michael Kors, Coach, and Tory Burch for handbags, wallets, and accessories. Our Saffiano PU (a high-quality, vegan alternative) captures the same sophisticated aesthetic while being animal-friendly and more sustainable.

All foiling, embossing, engraving, and printing is done in-house, allowing us to maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and attention to detail at every stage of production.

Our heritage has been forged in laser cutting and engraving wood veneer, a craft that remains at the heart of what we do. As a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke travel gifting, we work primarily with 4mm oak and cherry veneer, chosen for their rich tones, fine grain, and timeless appeal.

Veneered wood combines the natural beauty of real timber with the strength and stability of engineered materials. A thin layer of genuine hardwood - such as oak or cherry - is bonded to a core of MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), which is made from recycled wood fibres and resin. This process not only makes efficient use of natural resources but also ensures a smooth, consistent surface ideal for precision cutting and engraving.

MDF is one of the most sustainable wood-based materials available, as it often utilises wood waste and by-products that would otherwise go to landfill. By choosing veneered MDF, we achieve a balance of aesthetic quality, durability, and environmental responsibility.
